Position Overview:
We’re hiring a hands-on Catering Operations Manager to oversee our delivery and event execution.

This role is perfect for someone with management experience who thrives on logistics, leading teams, and ensuring all order and events run smoothly and professionally. If you are looking to play a key leadership role in a growing company – this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Oversight: Manage a team of catering delivery drivers (6+ vans in our fleet); ensure all orders are dispatched on time with correct equipment and food.
• Scheduling & Dispatch: Create and manage delivery schedules to ensure 100% on-time execution. Willing to jump in as needed to make a delivery as needed.
• Event Management: Lead catered events when on-site staff is required; oversee event staff to ensure excellent service and setup.
• Inventory & Procurement: Track and replenish catering supplies (trays, chafers, serving utensils, etc.); coordinate with vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
• Logistics Coordination: Ensure the catering van is prepped and loaded correctly; maintain routing plans and contingency plans for traffic/weather delays.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen, sales team, and event coordinators to ensure alignment on event timing and execution.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operations, logistics, hospitality, or team management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure
• Valid and clean driver’s license; ability to drive company catering van if needed
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and be on your feet during events
