At Desert Ready Mix LLC, we are always looking for future team members with great work ethics and a friendly attitude to join our growing Ready Mix Concrete team. Cat Mechanic requires 10 plus years’ experience. This position will be responsible for completing fleet inspections, diagnostics and repairs for the heavy equipment fleet . Job Responsibilities:
- Complete Repair Orders, Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance, Heavy Equipment Diagnostics, and Commercial Fleet inspections.
- Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations.
- Wear all PPE (Approved hard hat, vest, safety glasses Z87 approved, Gloves for approved job task, Long Pants, Short/Long Sleeved Shirt, Safety Toed Boots (8" lace up ).
- Understanding of environment/surroundings for key purpose of proper use and requirements of PPE (E.G. Ear Plugs, Rubber Gloves around corrosive materials).
- Coordinates with skilled tradesman and/or assigned supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders Safe and Efficiently.
- Employee must fill out all required paperwork.

Qualifications:
- Must have 10 plus years of experience
- Experience with ET program, JD Program, DPF systems, hydraulic, basic engine repairs, power train and the ability for diagnosing issues of all components.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have diesel knowledge.
- concrete knowledge.
- Must have reading, writing, and math skills.
- Commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams.

- Pre-employment drug test required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop or crouch. The employee is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
