St. John's Residence for Boys is a 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) in Rockaway Beach, Queens. If you are someone who thrives when involved in making a difference and impact on the city's most vulnerable youth and families this is your next endeavor. We are looking for someone to come in with a huge heart that has the ability to multi-task/manage others and ensure program compliance.

Education Requirement: Minimum MSW or related MA degree with at least two years of child welfare/case management and supervisory experience required. *Requirement: Drivers License /Valid

Brief Overview: Must be high energy with a bias for action. Leads by example, with a strong sense of purpose and performance expectations/service excellence. Must be able to effectively manage crises and conflicts. Practices and drives teamwork within and between service units. Responsible for supervision and guidance to case planning/ social service team. Works across RTC departments to ensure resident goals are in progress and is committed to success as relates to resident outcomes. Ensure documentation, reports, court hearings, trainings, meetings are scheduled/ attended/ implemented as necessary for department expectations as set forth by agency and ACS/ OCFS/stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be compassionate , resilient, creative, mature , professional responsible and committed to helping the youth. He or she will be a team player , able to work independently , possess strong organizational /time management skills and detailed orientated.
