Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Are you a hands-on engineering professional with a passion for continuous improvement and technical leadership? We're seeking a proactive and skilled Day Maintenance and Height Change Leader to join our dynamic team in Rugby.
This is a key position within the Engineering department, responsible for driving and developing maintenance systems and leading height change operations across the plant. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting TPM strategies, enhancing autonomous and planned maintenance, and collaborating across engineering functions to optimise tooling and changeover processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage autonomous and planned maintenance schedules aligned with plant capacity.
Actively participate in maintenance days, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in full.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
Monitor and improve maintenance completion rates.
Lead autonomous improvement projects with shift and day teams.
Oversee maintenance scheduling via Apriso, ensuring proper use and completion.
Plan and lead height change activities with hands-on involvement.
Develop methods and SOPs to reduce height change times and improve safety.
Foster strong communication and teamwork across engineering, CI, and production teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in engineering.
HND/HNC ; electrical qualifications advantageous.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); Apriso experience beneficial.
Strong communicator and team player with a safety-first mindset.
Decisive, action-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration
You'll work closely with internal engineering teams, CI specialists, and external tooling suppliers and OEMs to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
