Precision Measurement Inc. (PMI) is looking for a calibration technician. Candidates must work full-time on-site at our Fort Walton Beach, Florida, ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration and Testing Laboratory.

Mandatory Requirements:

· Must have a technical aptitude for measurement accuracy and be capable of following procedures

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for work in the United States of America

· Must have reliable transportation and be capable of commuting and arriving on time every day

· Must have a desire to grow with PMI and progress into more important roles continuously

Experience and Education:

· Completed schooling in calibration, testing, or equivalent technical fields of study

· Four years of experience in calibration, testing, or equivalent technical industry

· Ability to travel and provide services at customer sites locally, nationally, and internationally

· General understanding of measurement tools and standards used for calibration services

Position Pay: The calibration position is non-exempt hourly, between $22.00 - $45.00 an hour based on experience and education. The candidate is expected to work 40 hours at a minimum each week to maintain full-time status. Overtime, which is hours worked beyond the minimum 40 hours, will be paid for at one and a half times the hourly rate (also known as time and a half). Overtime is available and will range from 5 to 25 additional hours per pay period for technicians who maintain a steady throughput of calibrated items.
