Cad Technician

As a CAD Designer, you’ll support project managers by creating construction documents for civil site, water resources, stream restoration, and solid waste projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This includes site plans, grading and drainage plans, utility layouts, erosion control, and storm/sewer profiles.

You’ll also help design stream restoration plans (including plan views, profiles, and cross-sections), calculate quantities for estimates, determine earthwork volumes (cut/fill), and set up construction control systems like baselines and stationing. You’ll review drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards and offer value-driven design suggestions.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering Information Technologies, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field

  • 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
