CAD Project Assistant

The CAD Project Assistant is responsible for aiding the planning, budgeting, and overseeing capital projects implementation for the organization's mission properties. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to respond to programmatic needs, assist in the management of the design and construction phases, and support successful project completion within budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans that align with programmatic and operational needs.
· Assist in defining project scope, identifying design solutions, and developing construction documents.
· Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to review schedules, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
· Support procurement processes, including RFQs and RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
· Maintain strong relationships with staff, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
· Monitor project progress, addressing schedule and budget variances proactively.
· Participate in the development of scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules for design and construction projects.
· Oversee General Contractors (GCs) and Construction Managers (CMs) to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
· Coordinate master schedules to align construction timelines with organizational objectives.
· Ensure timely responses to project-related inquiries and requests from our sister departments.
· Maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and organization
· Compile research findings into concise reports and presentations.
· Review project deliverables for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
· Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other Trinity Wall Street policies, procedures, and rules.
· Perform all duties in a manner that promote Trinity’s mission and core values.
· Assume other related responsibilities and special projects as required.
