Position: NX CAD Engineer\n\nLocation: Milton Keynes\n\nPosition Type: Contract\n\nInside IR35, 50 hours per week\n\n*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*\n\nI am currently recruiting for a leading motorsport automotive company who is seeking a NX CAD Engineer to join their team.\n\nJob Description\n\nAs NX CAD Engineer your main responsibilities are:\n\n3D routing of complex wiring looms within confined vehicle packaging spaces.\nIntegration of electrical systems into composite structures.\nCollaboration with mechanical and electrical teams to resolve clashes and optimise routing.\nDelivery of robust, lightweight, production-ready CAD data and manufacturing drawings.Qualifications / Skills needed\n\nExpert Siemens NX user - 3D harness routing and electrical packaging experience essential.\nMotorsport or SVO background - must be comfortable working at speed with minimal hand-holding.\nProven ability to work within extremely tight packaging tolerances\nDesigning within and around composite enclosures and structures.\nFamiliarity with system 25, Motorsport-grade connectors, sensors, and assemblies. \n\nWhy work through Contechs?\n\nContechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
