The are now seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Engineer to join their trusted and successful business.
THE ROLE:
To assist and support the Drawing Office team with day-to-day duties associated with the department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The preparation, processing and distribution of necessary drawings, cutting lists and technical details required to manufacture our Holiday Homes.
To assist Furniture & Jig Draughtspeople on a daily basis with the creation of new drawings for both production purposes and new product development.
Processing modifications on pre-existing drawings.
To assist with the production of CSV notching files by manually extracting applicable data from live drawings using bespoke software built into AutoCAD.
To assist with the printing & plotting of line/side shop requested 'replacement' drawings.
To assist with Aftersales and Warranty queries, providing drawings and cutting lists where required.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.00pm Friday 7.30am to 11.30am.
THE CANDIDATE :
Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 (upwards) with the ability to draught in 2D. You should have previous experience within a drawing office in the Caravan/Holiday Home industry or similar (Kitchen/Bedroom design / Modular buildings etc).
Microsoft 365
Design Manager v.2020 document management software (not essential as in-house training and guidance will be given)
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels.
The ability to operate effectively within a team environment.
A good standard of education with a strong work ethic
Flexible and proactive approach to work and working hours.
Capable of managing time effectively.
Disciplined.
