Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated CAD Design Support team member to contribute to our mission supporting our work at a premier laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Creating Models and Drawings for the Saturn recap project for 6-12 months.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology (CADD) OR four years of equivalent experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using CAD software Creo Parametric and PDMLink tools,
- Able to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drawings,
- Able to acquire and maintain a DOE Q level security clearance
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in experimental hardware design,
- Experience with Windchill,
- Experience with Pulsed Power Systems (mechanical systems in extreme high current and voltage environments),
- Currently hold DOE clearance or equivalent.
