Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated CAD Design Support team member to contribute to our mission supporting our work at a premier laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating Models and Drawings for the Saturn recap project for 6-12 months.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology (CADD) OR four years of equivalent experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using CAD software Creo Parametric and PDMLink tools,
  • Able to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drawings,
  • Able to acquire and maintain a DOE Q level security clearance
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in experimental hardware design,
  • Experience with Windchill,
  • Experience with Pulsed Power Systems (mechanical systems in extreme high current and voltage environments),
  • Currently hold DOE clearance or equivalent.
