With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for a Autocad Engineer to join their growing design team based in South Manchester\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n * Generating detailed 2D/3D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company’s build specification and components data sheets..\n\n * Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel\n\n * Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records andparts/servicing list.\n\n * Working on multiple projects at one time.\n\n * Working closely with suppliers and fabricators.Knowledge and Skills Required:The ideal candidate will require the following skills and experience.\n\n * Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.\n\n * Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D (Primary software).\n\n * Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.\n\n * Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Specifically Microsoft Excel.\n\n * Clean driving licence (some points acceptable)\n\n * Hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is advantage
