CAD/CAM Programmer (JETCAM)



Location: On-Site at Merthyr Tydfil



Work Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday-Friday)



Salary: £26k - £30k  (Dependent on Experience)

Our client is seeking a talented CAD/CAM Programmer to join their dynamic technical team in Merthyr Tydfil. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid engineering background in CAD who are eager to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities:



Process orders using an internal door configuration system



Create and interpret technical drawings to guide production



Program CNC sheet metal machines with JETCAM software - Collaborate with both design and production teams to ensure precision and efficiency



Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks



Contribute to the enhancement of workflow processes and procedures



Ideal Candidate Profile:



Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or comparable)



Familiarity with JETCAM software or a readiness to learn quickly



Strong attention to detail and a structured work approach



Background in engineering (formal qualifications or relevant hands-on experience)



 Previous exposure to the steel door industry or manufacturing sectors is beneficial



 Excellent organisational and communication abilities
