CAD/CAM Programmer

Are you an experienced CAD/CAM Offline programmer? Are you looking to join a business that are going from strength to strength?



We are looking to hire an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer who has the ability to program both online & offline. You will have a background in machining in a precision engineering environment with the ability to use Fanuc & Heidenhain controls. Its imperative to have knowledge of tooling and fixtures as well as be able to demonstrate Lean Manufacturing techniques which will aid improvements to machining capabilities.



Additional experience needed for the CAD/CAM Programmer:

Have the ability to program in both Turning & Milling, ideally 5 axis with the knowledge of setting and operating.

Offline programming and have familiarity of VISI Cam - desirable

Experience in 3D modelling using Solidworks



Roles and responsibilities of the CAD/CAM Programmer:

Work closely with the NPI project leads to achieve timescales

Assist quality department to ensure all manufacturing is right first time

Support machining technicians with daily problems solving



In return we are able to offer a starting salary of £45,000 with continuous career development and training. Working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday there will be additional overtime available upon request.
