Job Description

Cabling Infrastructure Design Consultant responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions and Physical Infrastructure, inclusive of Telecommunications rooms/spaces. They combine expertise in telecommunications, networking, and information systems to create technical design documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design administration through closeout.

Primary responsibilities include developing comprehensive infrastructure designs, producing technical documentation such as Basis of Design (BOD) documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Technical Bulletins, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The role requires extensive knowledge of structured cabling systems, telecommunications standards, and enterprise network infrastructure design, coupled with strong technical documentation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ICT infrastructure solutions including networks systems

• Create detailed technical specifications and drawings for ICT projects

• Perform site surveys and technical feasibility studies

• Develop network topology and architecture designs

• Configure and optimize communication systems and networks

• Ensure designs comply with technical standards

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance

• Create documentation for implementations and maintenance procedures

• Conduct technical risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies
