Cable Landing Manager

Role Overview:
As a Junior Inspector, you will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and inspection activities for high-profile projects such as the Blanket First Wall (IV-PT) and Mitica Beam Source (H&CD PT). You will work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor preparation activities at supplier and subcontractor sites.
• Review and evaluate supplier documentation and records.
• Supervise the implementation of control plans and inspection procedures.
• Participate in technical and quality-related meetings.
• Prepare detailed inspection and progress reports.
• Communicate daily activities and findings to F4E (Fusion for Energy).
• Ensure compliance with mechanical component standards and manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications:
Technical Professional Education in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection or manufacturing quality control.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with non-destructive examination (NDE) methods is a plus. Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of mechanical standards and compliance verification.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to inspection tasks.
• English proficiency at B1/B2 level (B2 preferred)
