Where:
LINK Staffing is hiring Cable Installation Technicians to join a respected telecommunications project in South Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn great pay while traveling — all airfare, hotel accommodations, and travel time are covered!
Job Highlights:
- Pay: $20/hour
- Per Diem: $50/day
- Travel: Airfare and hotel covered
- Schedule: Full-time project work
- Location: South Carolina
- Benefits: Paid travel time + daily per diem
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test network and coaxial cables in commercial or industrial settings
- Mount and connect hardware including jacks, patch panels, and racks
- Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, and organization
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform site cleanup and maintain professional work standards
- Troubleshoot installation issues to ensure quality performance
Requirements:
- Must bring own tools: cutter, crimper, 9/16 impact wrench, terminator, power drill/screwdrivers
- Prior experience in cable or low-voltage installation
- Ability to travel and stay in South Carolina for project duration
- Must be reliable and able to follow detailed installation plans
- Able to work safely on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
