Cable Engineering Manager \n\nLocation: Warwick (Hybrid, 2 days in the office per week)\n Contract Length: 6 Months\n\nAre you ready to take your career to the next level? You will have the chance to work on significant projects that make a real impact on the energy landscape, while enjoying a flexible working environment that supports your work-life balance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n As the Cable Engineering Manager, your role will encompass:\n\nOverseeing the overall design and governance of HV cable systems across various Offshore Hybrid Assets (OHA) projects.\nManaging a talented team of engineers to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable cable systems.\nCollaborating with cable contractors, civil works contractors, and ancillary system suppliers to ensure high standards in design and construction.\nActing as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, authorities, and suppliers.\nEnsuring safety by design principles are embedded in all contractor solutions.\nConducting regular site visits to cable routes and converter stations to monitor progress and quality.What We're Looking For:\n To thrive in this role, you should possess:\n\nProven experience delivering large infrastructure projects.\nA track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while producing high-quality results under tight deadlines.\nIn-depth knowledge of the power industry and technical understanding of converter station components.\nStrong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.Your Leadership Qualities:\n We value leaders who can inspire collaboration and maintain strong relationships.
