Position Summary:
The C4I Electronics Code Engineering Technician provides technical expertise in assessing, troubleshooting, and overseeing the repair of U.S. Navy shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. This position requires strong electronics knowledge supported by mechanical and electrical skills, as well as the ability to interpret and apply technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Experience: 3 or more years of experience

Clearance: Secret clearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of shipboard C4I systems to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

• Provide oversight of maintenance and repairs to ensure compliance with Navy standards.

• Troubleshoot system issues and support corrective maintenance efforts.

• Interpret and apply equipment technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspections, repairs, and system status.

• Collaborate with Navy personnel, contractors, and engineering teams to support operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

• Working knowledge of Maintenance and Material Management (3M).

• Hands-on experience with Navy C4I systems or comparable military communication systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Active or eligible for Secret Security Clearance.

• Willingness to travel to shipyards, ports, and at-sea assignments.
