Roll Accountabilities:
General
-
Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, mine operations, and third-party vendors to analyze integration needs, identify solutions, facilitate their successful implementation, and ensure that data flows securely and reliably between applications used in exploration, production, processing, logistics, and finance.

Provide analytical support throughout integration projects lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.

Support change control processes and help users adapt to new systems, processes and procedures.

Enterprise software such as but not limited to:

ERP (SAP S/4 HANA)

Invoice and Expense Management Systems (Chrome River)

Supply chain supporting applications
-
Inventory Management application
-
End User Support
-
Keeps clients informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.

Monitors and analyzes performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.

Provide realistic/timely client expectations.
-
Ensures IT solutions meet client needs.
-
Maintain the currently high levels of IT user satisfaction from Hudbay employees.
System Design
-
Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
-
Contributes to short- and long-term planning sessions to ensure understanding of business goals and direction providing input from a business and IT perspective.

Leads the assessment of client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.

Leads development and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the design and implementation of business solutions.

Analyzes client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvements.

Provides recommendations for business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.

Conduct feasibility studies and draft proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers.

Ensures implemented solutions comply with industry standards, data governance policies, cybersecurity best practices, are secure, scalable, and align with enterprise architecture standards.

Responsible for business case development and presentation.
System Maintenance and Development

Follow appropriate change methodology

Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
Minimum Qualifications and Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems related field.
-
2 years experience working with information systems, ERP (SAP 4/HANA), financial management systems, or procurement systems.

Proven experience in business analysis, including business process optimization, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.

Experience working with cloud based systems (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Qualifications:
-
Certifications in integration platforms both for cloud and on-premise integrations.

3 - 5 years experience in SAP S/4 HANA business analysis and integration projects.

Experience with databases (SQL), data architecture, and data modeling.

Mining industry experience is a plus.

The work environment will necessitate work near moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions such as hot and/or dry conditions. Work will be conducted in locations where noise, fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration may exist.
Employee will be expected to drive a company vehicle, rental vehicle and/or his/her own vehicle in the course of performing the job, Employee must be able to perform the physical functions of operating a motor vehicle, including use of eyes, ears, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Employee must be able to prove that he/she has a current and valid driver's license.
