We’re seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team and drive the evolution of our manufacturing processes through data-driven insights, systems integration, and strategic IT solutions.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a key liaison between IT and assigned business areas, fostering trusted relationships and acting as the primary point of contact for technology-related needs.
- Understand and stay informed of business strategies and goals to help identify opportunities where IT can support improved processes, performance, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Business System Owners (BSO) group to support planning, prioritization, and solution development that aligns with both business and technical needs.
- Facilitate the gathering and documentation of business requirements in partnership with stakeholders and the BSO group, ensuring clarity and traceability.
- Translate business needs into functional input and collaborate with IT and vendor teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.
- Support the creation and organization of functional documentation and specifications to guide solution development and implementation.
- Coordinate unit testing activities and assist the BSO group in preparing for user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring readiness without directly owning the UAT process.
- Contribute to issue resolution by identifying root causes, documenting findings, and recommending improvements based on technical and business feedback.
- Maintain open communication throughout project lifecycles, managing expectations and ensuring timely updates to all stakeholders.
- Advocate for the business within IT and collaborate with the BSO group and partners to continuously improve the use and effectiveness of business systems.
Qualifications and experience include, but are not limited to:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a business systems focused role.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between business and technical teams.
- Proficient in ERP systems, with experience supporting cross-functional processes; Infor CloudSuite or Infor M3 .
- Working knowledge of EDI and integrations, including partner onboarding, VAN coordination, and issue resolution support.
- Ability to translate business functions into system requirements and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organized and self-directed, capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
