Business Development Representative (Outside Sales Representative) – Construction Staffing
MEMCO is a leading construction staffing agency seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our Denver Branch team. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored staffing solutions for the construction industry. This position offers opportunities for advancement into branch management and leadership roles.
The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the construction or staffing industries.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to generate new business opportunities and meet revenue goals.
- Identify target markets and specific business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Plan weekly and daily schedules to maximize productivity and achieve sales targets.
Business Development & Lead :
·Generate new business through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
·Identify leads by actively participating in industry associations, trade shows, and events.
·Establish connections and build strong relationships with construction industry leaders.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific workforce needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing industry insights, workforce solutions, and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure client satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.
Sales Process & Negotiation:
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate rates, credit terms, and service agreements within company guidelines.
- Follow through on leads and opportunities to close sales effectively.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Partner with recruiting and operations teams to ensure the successful placement of workers and client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities, including client interactions and pipeline updates, in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and progress toward goals.
Other Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed to support the company’s overall objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing execute marketing efforts, represent the brand consistently.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary between $68,000 to $73,000 (BOE)plus uncapped commission structure.

Qualifications:
·Proven experience Of The Construction Trades and/or Construction Industry
·Strong ability to identify and generate leads, perform cold calls, and close sales effectively.
·Must Be Able To Communicate Respectfully With People Of All Levels Of Understanding
·Proficient with computers, adaptable to change, and capable of quickly learning new software and systems.
·Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience is required.
·Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen And Background Check Requirements
