About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be the face of BrightStar Care in a newly established territory, responsible for:

  • Building brand awareness
  • Developing referral networks
  • Creating strategic growth plans
  • Strengthening community presence
  • Supporting office administrative operations

You will spend 90% of your time in the field cultivating relationships and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development & Brand Growth

  • Lead business development efforts to launch and grow a new territory
  • Create and execute a strategic plan for market penetration and referral growth
  • Build strong partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, assisted living facilities, physicians, and community organizations
  • Increase brand visibility through networking, events, presentations, and targeted outreach
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for rapid growth

Community Relations, Sales & Marketing

  • Conduct daily outreach to referral sources and professional partners
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and industry networking opportunities
  • Manage referral pipelines and maintain accurate CRM documentation
  • Achieve monthly referral and admissions targets
  • Follow up promptly on inquiries and new referral opportunities

Qualifications

To stand out in this role, candidates should have:

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, sales, community relations, or healthcare management roles
  • Proven success in building business relationships and growing territory or referral networks
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

(Not Required)

  • Degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in home health, home care, senior care, or healthcare operations
