Business Development Manager
Job Description
Compass Life Sciences are partnering with a UK based CRO focused within pre-clinical / early stage trials, in their search to appoint a Business Development Manager.
This role will give you the onus of the entire Business Development life cycle within a growing CRO, and you will be at the forefront of this ground-breaking organisation and pivotal in their success. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company.
Responsibilities
- Building market knowledge and insight to create new sales revenue by positioning the group's strategy, vision and value proposition to key buying influencers and decision-makers.
- Managing end-to-end sales process from market analysis, identifying customers to winning opportunities.
- Growing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, identifying customer needs and consulting with them to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a business or scientific discipline
- A driven sales professional with at least 5+ years' experience within a similar role
- Knowledge of the drug development process
- Good knowledge of the pre clinical CRO landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, organisation skills and ability to multi-task.
- Significant commercial results, with successes in lead generation, developing opportunities & achieving target.
