Be A Bear is a digital strategy agency focussed on driving revenue and engaging global audiences.
In our fourth year we have a team of 30+, covering organic, paid, creative and strategy. We work with enterprise media clients like ITV, MTV, Comedy Central and Channel 5, through to start-ups and scale-up brands like So&Mo, Planika and China Airlines.
We’re seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the team and drive us through the next stage of growth.
This is a new role, and you will be working directly with the senior leadership team to exceed the business goals.
You’re expected to be in the office 3 days a week, in Parsons Green, and you’ll be joining us as we work on a 4 day week trial (currently in progress).

You understand that this is a role that requires you to form strong work relationships, both inside the agency and externally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Optimising and developing our prospecting work-flow to contact new clients.
- Creating target lists, timelines and goals for driving new contracts.
- Maintaining a centralised record of all live conversations across leads and prospects, with the view of building a CRM system.
- Supporting in initial meetings with clients, to understand their needs and brief the wider team.
- Supporting in the delivery of proposals to clients.
- Sharing insights and feedback from prospecting with the senior leadership team, which will feed into our agency marketing plans.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2 years experience in the agency space is expected.
- Proof of process-driven sales in the past.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using Pipedrive and Cognism.
