My client is an established foodservice wholesale business and one of the leading names in the industry. They are currently undergoing an exciting expansion phase and looking for talented individuals to join them.
They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for winning new business, maximising sustainable short- and long-term sales and boosting profitability. This will be focussing on mid-level and premium restaurants in Central London.
This is the ideal role for hungry driven development managers who thrive on winning new business, who want to join a leading and ever-growing business who can match their ambition and offer some serious progression opportunities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and prospect potential new clients.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand client needs, pain points, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to generate new leads and secure business partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Meet and exceed targets.
The Ideal Business Development Manager Candidate:
- Must have a solid sales experience and a proven track record of winning new business, within the foodservice industry.
- Must have a strong network of established relationships with Central London hospitality businesses and premium restaurants.
- Must be resilient, target driven and thrives on winning new business.
- Confident, persuasive, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must be results focused with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be prepared to travel and work outside of normal hours when required.
