We're seeking a talented New Business Development Director to join our Orlando Construction team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client relationships, outreach, and marketing efforts.
Your Role:
As our New Business Development Director, you’ll wear many hats. You’ll act as the main point of contact for key clients, lead new business efforts, and coordinate strategic marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and sales. This role requires strong communication, marketing execution, and organizational skills.
Client Services Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for select clients and cold-call prospects in the Orlando area.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, proactive communication.
- Identify sales opportunities within current client accounts and new prospects.
- Effectively present services and solutions, handle objections, and up-sell.
- Gain a deep understanding of each client’s business and highlight their unique value in the marketplace.
- Attend and represent the company at trade shows, networking groups, and industry events.
- Must be flexible with work hours as needed to support client or event needs.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms.
- Coordinate the design, printing, and distribution of promotional materials.
- Oversee email marketing (e.g., Constant Contact), SMS marketing (EZ Texting), and social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Yelp.
- Manage company data and outreach tracking via Excel, Google Sheets, and Outlook.
- Plan, coordinate, and promote company presence at events and on-site activations.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting and feedback to ownership.
What We’re Looking For:
- A reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated individual with a passion for direct marketing.
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Construction
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales, marketing, or advertising role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and online marketing tools.
- Creative, resourceful, and open to testing new approaches.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident in presenting and communicating with clients both in person and virtually.
