Business Development Director
Job Description Company Profile: We are a full-service contract research organisation (CRO) and Contract Development Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) dedicated to helping bring new drugs to the market. The Role: We are looking to hire a new business development director to support our global CMC services team. This is a typical business development position involving hunting for new clients, key account management, and CSM/CRM. Your territories will include but aren't limited to Europe and Latin America making this a truly global role. You will be working in tangent with a high performing and established project management team supporting you on all your endeavours. Requirements for the Role: 5+ years of experience in key account/sales positions within the life science industry. Prior experience working for a CRO or CDMO. Functional understanding of CMC (Chemical or Formulation development) specifically in small molecules. Experience selling or working with CMC services in and around small molecules. A scientific background/education in life sciences or a related discipline is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated success in closing deals through excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to thrive under pressure and tackle challenges head-on. We like someone who is deadline-driven with the capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. This is a remote role with international travel to clients and conferences, but candidates must be based in France or Germany!
