We are seeking a Permanent Business / Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will have the chance to make a significant impact. Our firm is committed to providing high-quality legal services to our clients and we are looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, with a focus on business and civil litigation. Experience in insurance defense is a must.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Business / Civil Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing clients in legal proceedings, drawing up legal documents and advising clients on legal transactions.

2. Conducting research to properly advise clients, develop cases, and provide appropriate legal advice.

3. Developing and executing litigation strategies, including taking depositions, conducting discovery, and performing document review and analysis.

4. Representing clients in court, arguing motions, and participating in trial proceedings as necessary.

5. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, helping them understand the complexities of the law.

6. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in order to resolve disputes as efficiently and effectively as possible.

7. Staying updated on current laws and regulations within the field of business and civil litigation.

8. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Business / Civil Litigation Attorney position will have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business and civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense.

3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.

5. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

6. Proficiency in legal research software and other legal tools.

7. Admitted to practice law in the state, and in good standing with the state bar.

8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

9. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.

10. Ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively as part of a team.
