Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)
Clearance: Must be a U.S. and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.

Summary:
The Business Automation Specialist will support DHS CISA's digital transformation initiatives by implementing automation solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance mission efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess opportunities for workflow and process automation across business units.

• Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system owners to integrate automation into enterprise systems.

• Ensure compliance with DHS and federal IT security standards in automation solutions.

• Create documentation and provide training for end users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in business automation, process improvement, or related role.

• Hands-on experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and scripting .

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.
