Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMoore Colson, one of the largest independent accounting and advisory firms in the United States, is looking for a Business and Financial Advisory Senior Manager OR Director in Construction to join our Atlanta Tax team. Guided by a legacy of excellence since 1981, we offer a supportive environment where everyone’s voice is valued and heard.Position: Senior Manager or Director, Business and Financial AdvisoryKey Responsibilities
- Manage projects including close processes, reporting, and reconciliations
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Design and implement systems for clients
- Calculate and report indirect taxes
- Prepare cash flow and financial projections
- Review payroll, benefits processing, and 1099 preparation
- Advise clients on financial decisions
- Serve as interim/fractional Controller or CFO
- Troubleshoot client issues
- Manage and mentor staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA
- 8-12 years of accounting/finance experience (depending on level)
- 5-7 years in a management role
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Excel; experience with Sage, NetSuite, SAP a plus
- Industry experience in specifically, Construction
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong communication and client service skills
