Business Analyst/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to support a dynamic federal program. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise and business analysis skills to lead multiple concurrent initiatives, gather and document requirements, and facilitate process improvements across IT and business operations.

This is a critical role within a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you'll engage directly with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional technical teams.

Duties:

  • Develop, track, and manage multiple projects of varying scope, size, and complexity
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, including application development, IT operations, and information security
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements with a focus on process improvement
  • Facilitate requirement discussions and document user acceptance test plans
  • Coordinate and track the execution of user acceptance testing
  • Document and manage project risks, issues, and changes through to resolution
  • Maintain and update requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate project updates, requirement changes, and status reports to all stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities to restructure and improve business functions and processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Proven ability to translate conceptual ideas into clear business and technical requirements
  • Strong facilitation skills for requirement and process improvement discussions
  • Experience managing projects through various stages of the development lifecycle (analysis through implementation)
  • Familiarity with software or systems development lifecycles
  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Degree or certification in Business Analysis or Project Management is a plus
  • Self-starter able to quickly acclimate to fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proactive and forward-thinking in project management and business analysis activities
