Job DescriptionJob Description

Aries Charter Transportation is seeking full-time diesel and bus mechanics at our Chicago facility. We operate a fleet of diesel and gas powered motor coach buses, school buses, transit buses, trolleys, mini buses and vans.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $1,000 for full-time employees. $500 available after first 90 days of employment. Additional $500 available after first 180 days of employment.

Mechanic must have at least 2 years experience or technical training working on buses and diesel powered vehicles

Candidates must meet USDOT physical requirements and pass a pre-employment drug screen

Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement ()

Mechanic / maintenance shop operates 3 shifts, 7 days a week
Schedules are flexible
Mechanic must be able to work independently
Additional training programs are available
Position is safety sensitive
Required tasks include preventive maintenance inspections, emergency and road failure repairs, general maintenance on electrical, HVAC, brake and accessory systems.
Wheelchair lift experience helpful
Mechanics must own basic hand tools

Salary: $22.00 to $32.00 /hour
