Express Employment is hiring on behalf of a client in the Pittsburgh area for a Building Systems Maintenance Specialist who enjoys solving problems, moving with purpose, and owning results.

What you’ll do

• Perform scheduled and as-needed maintenance on residential and commercial buildings
• Diagnose and resolve minor issues in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and building systems to flag repair needs
• Repair and replace drywall, flooring components, doors, and windows
• Complete painting, caulking, and other appearance-improving tasks
• Handle general upkeep and minor repair projects
• Manage work orders independently and complete tasks efficiently

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience with basic repairs (drywall patching, painting, light plumbing/electrical, carpentry, and HVAC basics)
• Self-directed work style and strong follow-through
• Attention to detail and a commitment to doing it right the first time
• Valid driver’s license
