Building Services Engineer\n\nLondon\n£42,000 – £50,000 + Benefits\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a mechanically biased Building Services Engineer to join a building services and sustainability consultancy based in London.\n\nThis role is ideal for an engineer looking to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to a broad range of projects across both the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will work across sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and retail.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, low-carbon engineering solutions, with responsibilities including:\n\nLeading HVAC design across multiple projects\nDeveloping concept designs for mechanical and electrical building services\nCollaborating closely with sustainability and energy teams\nProducing technical reports and presenting solutions to clients\nAttending design team and client meetings\nCarrying out site inspections and M&E condition surveys\nSupporting lifecycle costing and value engineering exercises\nBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsAbout You\n\nDegree qualified in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline\n2–4 years’ experience within a building services consultancy environment\nStrong understanding of mechanical design within the construction industry\nGood knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance\nExperience producing technical drawings and specifications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nConfident communicator with client-facing experience\nFull UK driving licenceDesirable experience includes:\n\nExposure to electrical design\nEnergy and sustainability reporting at planning stage\nNet zero and ESG strategies\nDynamic simulation modelling (TM52, TM59, TM54)\nSAP and SBEM modelling\nBREEAM supportWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary (£40,000 – £45,000)\nPrivate healthcare and pension scheme\nFlexible working arrangements\nRegular social and team events\nOngoing training and professional development\nOpportunity to work on high-profile, sustainability-focused projectsFor more information or to apply, please contact: (url removed)
