Building Services Engineer\nLocation: Manchester (Hybrid Working Available)\nRate: Up to £50 per hour, Inside IR35, subject to experience)\nContract Type: Contract, Full-Time\nDuration: 6 Months+\nHeadcount: 2 Positions Available\nWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for two Building Services Engineers to support a growing pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical projects. Based in Manchester with hybrid flexibility, this is a key opportunity for experienced engineers to contribute to the delivery of complex design packages within a large, multi-disciplinary team.\nBuilding Services Engineer Key Responsibilities\n * Lead the electrical design and coordination of building services packages from concept to delivery\n * Produce detailed electrical specifications and calculations using Amtech and other design tools\n * Deliver work packages across commercial, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors\n * Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and client stakeholders\n * Ensure technical compliance with British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry best practice\n * Support junior staff and contribute to quality standards across the design team\n * Maintain project delivery within agreed budget, time, and quality parameters\nBuilding Services Engineer Essential Requirements\n * Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services design\n * Proven track record leading design packages on major projects\n * In-depth knowledge of Amtech and other design software\n * Strong technical knowledge of the built environment, including commercial or pharmaceutical buildings\n * Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment\n * Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship\n * Willingness and ability to obtain security clearance\nBuilding Services Engineer Desirable\n * Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or CIBSE)\n * Experience in client-facing roles and contributing to project strategy\n * Familiarity with Revit and other BIM tools\nPlease note: This is a UK contract role, and candidates will require eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for this role.\nApply now to join a well-established electrical engineering team and contribute to high-value, technically challenging projects in a supportive and collaborative environment
