We are recruiting on behalf of our client for two Building Services Engineers to support a growing pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical projects. Based in Manchester with hybrid flexibility, this is a key opportunity for experienced engineers to contribute to the delivery of complex design packages within a large, multi-disciplinary team.
Building Services Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Lead the electrical design and coordination of building services packages from concept to delivery
* Produce detailed electrical specifications and calculations using Amtech and other design tools
* Deliver work packages across commercial, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors
* Collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and client stakeholders
* Ensure technical compliance with British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry best practice
* Support junior staff and contribute to quality standards across the design team
* Maintain project delivery within agreed budget, time, and quality parameters
Building Services Engineer Essential Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services design
* Proven track record leading design packages on major projects
* In-depth knowledge of Amtech and other design software
* Strong technical knowledge of the built environment, including commercial or pharmaceutical buildings
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
* Willingness and ability to obtain security clearance
Building Services Engineer Desirable
* Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or CIBSE)
* Experience in client-facing roles and contributing to project strategy
* Familiarity with Revit and other BIM tools
