Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building/Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have broad maintenance experience and a strong work ethic to handle a variety of tasks across multiple commercial properties. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and keeping buildings in top condition.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial properties (HVAC filters, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and general building upkeep).
• Conduct inspections and identify issues before they become major problems.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with minor construction, painting, drywall, and carpentry projects as needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
• Coordinate with property managers and vendors for larger repairs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar role (commercial property experience ).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
