Fast-growing manufacturing company is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician with a primary focus on building maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the physical structure of the facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. This includes performing repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance on the building itself, as well as handling general upkeep tasks as needed. In addition to these primary duties, the technician will also be responsible for supporting machinery and equipment maintenance within the facility as a secondary responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment, including performing routine building inspections and addressing any issues that arise.
· Performs preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical components.
· Coordinates with outside contractors for specialized building repairs and maintenance projects.
· Ensures building safety and compliance with facility standards and regulations.
· Supports machinery and equipment maintenance by visually inspecting and testing machinery as needed.
· Observes and discusses machine operation with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose and assist in repairs.
· Dismantles defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts when required.
· Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts, and performs other preventive maintenance duties on equipment.
· Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and/or pneumatic equipment, including repairing and replacing gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment as secondary tasks.
· Keep accurate part inventory records
ISO
· Assist in Development of any ISO related policies/procedures for your function
· Adhere to Company ISO policies/procedures
· Other projects and duties as may be assigned

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or Vocational Education required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Maintenance
Electrical Experience: 24VDC,120VAC, 240VAC and 480VAC.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of E-mail, Microsoft Windows Excel and Word and affiliated software packages.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Individuals must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers. Have the ability to understand and apply Lean Manufacturing Concepts.
Physical Demands/Work Environment: The ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which could include sitting or standing for the majority of the day. Responsibilities include the need to lift, carry, push, and pull material on a frequent basis. Must be capable of lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds infrequently.
