Gryphon is seeking a full-time DDC-HVAC Technician to provide professional and technical support to the U.S. Army Reserve’s 88th Readiness Division (RD), Directorate of Public Works (DPW), at Fort McCoy, WI. The 88th RD manages 270+ sites comprised of 800+ buildings across 19 states.

Essential Functions

• Respond to alarms, perform basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
• Modify alarm and history trend parameters.
• Assist Energy Managers with High Energy Use buildings.
• Maintain building occupancy schedules.
• Evaluate analytics reports to determine if corrective action is required.
• Troubleshoot communications issues.
• Monitor Utility Monitoring and Control System [UMCS] for trends.
• Develop Building profiles.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A technical degree or relevant certification in areas like electrical engineering, computer science, or building automation systems is .
• Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building automation controls.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within the BAS system.
• Clear communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to climb ladders, and work in various environments.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a Department of Army background investigation.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must have access to a reliable automobile.
• Must be willing to travel. Travel constitutes approximately 20% of the job.
