The Box Machine Operator is responsible for sorting, preparing and packaging products requiring custom packaging. The ideal candidate will consider safety, quality and team work to a high regard, and work well in a team environment.

Hourly Rate and Schedule:

• $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours
• Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (start/end time may vary based on coverage and business needs)

Requirements for Warehouse Worker:

• Previous experience using a custom box or gluer machine, .
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift (cherry picker), .
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS software
• Wear safety gloves while handling metal products
• Able to read, identify and sort products based on pick ticket details
• Scans product using handheld scanners
• Use advised packing material when packaging products
• Places necessary labels on packed products
• Using banding equipment on products is required
• Stages product for shipping in proper location for UPS/Fed Ex/LTL/truck shipments
• Keeps warehouse and work area clean and always organized
• Wear protective toed shoes and always work in a safe manner
• Assist Lead/team members when changing corrugate for Box machine
• Ensure Box machine and work area is clean and neat before leaving EOD
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
