Flying Point Marina is seeking a Boat Yard Laborer / Equipment Operator to become part of our team. This individual must have reliable transportation, willing to work outside in all conditions, and can operate various heavy equipment such as a forklift, backhoe loader, boat lift and other boat yard equipment. The scheduled days of operations are Monday through Friday, and some weekends will be expected during the busy season.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate marine equipment and watercraft
• Load and unload watercraft
• Power washing marina vessels
• Bottom painting of marina vessels
• Communicate the need for maintenance or repair to marine property and equipment
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Assist marina mechanics when necessary
• Perform and assist with maintenance projects around the marina

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience working at a marina
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License
