Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and operational. This role involves a variety of tasks including residential painting, electrical work, and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter. The Porter/Maintenance will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of our facilities.

- Candidates will need to pass background check including BNSF eRailSafe certification
- Fluent in English
- Comply with all safety proceures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
Job description
- General interior/exterior maintenance - Job will include but not limited to light commercial renovations including painting, tape and bed, texture, door, flooring Install and repair kitchen/ bathroom appliances supplies.Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and management.
- Hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.
- Deliver and set-up folding tables, chairs, signs, banners, and other equipment in support of conference, food services requirements, and special events.
- Replace interior and exterior lighting.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned trucks, utility vehicles.
- Make minor concrete and asphalt repairs.
- Operate a street sweeper, forklift, boom lift, and battery-operated indoor man lift.
- Escort and supervise subcontractors performing work on campus.
- Ice/snow removal
- Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components
- Provide good Customer ServiceJoin our team as a Porter/Maintenance professional where your skills will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
