Job Description

My client is a leading BMS company in the London area, who are looking to bring on board a project engineer to work on the projects they have ongoing within the London area. As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and commissioning building management systems and associated mechanical/electrical plant in line with contract specifications.\n\nBenefits\n\n * Salary up to £75,000\n\n * Private Medical\n\n * Private Health\n\n * Life Assurance (4x Salary)\n\n * 26 Days Holiday\n\n * Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * Pension\n\n * Progression and Training\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Designing and developing project documentation, including points lists and descriptions of operations.\n\n * Writing BMS software and creating bespoke system graphics.\n\n * Carrying out off-site panel inspections, software testing, and factory acceptance tests.\n\n * Pre-commissioning and commissioning BMS control panels and third-party equipment on-site.\n\n * Attending witness testing and commissioning meetings.\n\n * Collaborating with project managers to ensure project delivery meets technical and quality standards.\n\n * Providing technical support to junior engineers and contributing to team development.\n\n * Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets, and documentation\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Strong knowledge of the BMS industry with experience in system design, engineering, and commissioning.\n\n * Technical qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (ONC/HNC or above).\n\n * Knowledge of industry standards and strong IT skills.\n\n * A full, clean UK driving licence.\n\n * CSCS card holder.\n\n * A proactive problem solver with strong communication and time management skills.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established engineering company and to work on large scale commercial based BMS projects within the London area.
