Bms Project Engineer

A skilled BMS Project Engineer is sought to join a leading provider of intelligent building solutions. This hands-on technical role involves the commissioning, integration, and optimisation of Building Management Systems (BMS) to enhance building performance and support sustainability goals. The successful candidate will be involved in end-to-end project delivery and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams across various sites.

Key Responsibilities



* Commission and integrate BMS systems using platforms such as Trend, Tridium, and Distech



* Collaborate with project stakeholders including engineers, contractors, and site managers to ensure smooth project execution



* Conduct site mobilisation visits to gather system requirements and verify plant configurations



* Develop and implement control strategies and graphics head-end systems aligned with project specifications



* Create and follow standardised schematic designs and programming strategies to streamline delivery



* Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and share best practices within the team



* Carry out on-site commissioning of BMS installations, ensuring full functionality and alignment with client expectations



* Produce accurate quotes, surveys, and technical proposals for new and existing works



* Support operational teams with periodic maintenance and urgent service calls as required



* Validate control strategies during commissioning and maintain documentation for audit and quality control



Skills & Experience



* Competency at advanced level with Trend systems (including IQVision), able to modify control strategies and develop schematics



* Proficient with engineering tools such as Trend SET; familiarity with Tridium N4 is desirable



* Experience integrating BMS systems using industry protocols (Modbus, MBus, BACnet, etc.)



* Solid understanding of IT networking, including IP configuration and system connectivity



* Knowledge of metering systems and working with open protocol building solutions
