BMS Commissioning Engineer\n\nSalary: Up to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits\n\nWhat You'll Get as a BMS Commissioning Engineer\n\nSalary up to £55,000\nCompany car or car allowance\nPrivate healthcare for you and your family, including access to an online GP\nAnnual bonus scheme\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe're looking for a skilled BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team, delivering high-quality building automation and energy management solutions across commercial and industrial environments.\n\nYou'll play a key role in commissioning, optimising, and troubleshooting BMS systems-ensuring performance, efficiency, and client satisfaction at every stage.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver a best-in-class service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction\nConduct site inspections and system assessments (HVAC, lighting, controls)\nDefine project scope and requirements with clients and project managers\nDevelop and initiate commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules\nConfigure and programme BMS hardware and software (controllers, sensors, interfaces)\nPerform functional testing and validate system performance\nDiagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning and post-installation\nCollaborate with internal teams and clients to optimise system performance\nProvide training and support to end users\nProduce commissioning documentation, reports, and as-built drawings\nStay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices\nContribute to continuous improvement of processes and BMS capabilities\n\nAbout You\n\n3+ years' experience in BMS commissioning and troubleshooting (commercial and/or industrial)\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control strategies\nExperience with Trend, Schneider, Tridium or Sigma systems ()\nProficient in configuring and programming BEMS components\nFamiliar with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and Ethernet/IP\nStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skills\nExcellent communication and organisational abilities\nDetail-oriented with a structured approach to project delivery\nTeam-focused with a collaborative mindset\nKnowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability standards, and UK regulations (advantageous)\nFull UK driving licence
