BMS Application Layer - Function Designer for Model-Based Design

Tasks:

1. Support the BMS project leader and ASW architect in planning function development.

2. Assist the BMS project leader in ensuring completeness of requirements and traceability to functions.

3. Develop functions according to ASW architect's interfaces using Model-Based Design tools and company guidelines.

4. Establish baseline function interfaces with the Embedded Software team.

5. Validate functions, including writing test procedures, in the Model-in-the-Loop environment.

6. Aid the ASW architect in integration and verification of function auto-generated C-code.

7. Validate functions, including writing test procedures, on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) with support from HIL engineers.

8. Validate functions, including writing test procedures, on the string with support from the test team.

9. Support the enhancement of Model-Based Design processes, associated tools, and best practices.

10. Collaborate with the plant simulation engineer on function Model-In-the-Loop models.

11. Stay updated on control theory applied to functions.

KRAs and/or KPIs:

1. On-time delivery and validation of functions.

2. Compliance of function design with company development guidelines.

3. Function performance in relation to requirements.

4. Constructive interaction with MBD team, aiming for quality and performance of the end product.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Proficiency in MBD algorithms.

2. Experience with MBD for embedded software.

3. Knowledge of MBD MIL and HIL testing methodologies.

4. Strong teamwork skills.

Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years minimum experience in developing MBD in a structured team.
- Experience with BMS algorithms in the industrial/automotive domain.
- MSC Degree in control theory and system modelling.
