Job DescriptionJob Description

Food Blending Machine Operator runs equipment to mix ingredients per recipes, ensuring product quality by monitoring, adjusting settings, performing QC checks, documenting data, and maintaining clean, safe machines, following strict GMP/safety rules in a fast-paced food production environment. This is 2nd shift position.

• Operation: Operate, start, and monitor large-scale mixers, blenders, pumps, and related machinery.
• Ingredient Handling: Weigh, measure, and load raw ingredients (powders, liquids) into machines according to batch formulas.
• Monitoring & Adjustment: Observe machine gauges and controls (temperature, flow, pressure) and make adjustments for consistent blending.
• Quality Control: Take product samples, perform visual checks, and ensure blended materials meet specified standards.
• Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, batch records, and reports.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean and sanitize equipment (blenders, lines, work areas) and perform basic troubleshooting/clearing of jams.
• Safety: Adhere strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all safety protocols, often wearing PPE and using hoists/harnesses.
