Biomedical Technician / Mechanical Engineer

Looking for a mechanical / electrical / biomedical engineer to work as a biomedical technician to diagnose and repair hospital beds, stretchers, and other clinical engineering equipment, as well as perform electrical safety, preventative maintenance, and calibration on medical devices. Will work with multiple site projects at any given time but also a regular project site to manage medical assets for top-rated area hospitals and medical centers.

Preference is to have a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in the field, though training and in-service will be provided in-house and via OEM. Education in biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering is a must. If education is outside these parameters, the candidate must have a solid experience background in the industry. Though the position is regional (Central Indiana), via our locations and business across the eastern and southern USA, the candidate will have opportunity for business travel if they desire it.

Experience with Hill-Rom and Stryker beds is desired.
