What you will do Development application of innovative algorithms in the field of machine learning, specifically with focus on decision support in medicine and healthcare in the wider sense Active support of ongoing research projects in generative AI for real-world data applications in medicine Presentation of results via scientific publications, workshops and conferences as well as to external collaboration partners Active support of team leader in terms of acquisition of new projects and technology transfer into pharma and biotech industry Active collaboration with the support of other team members, for example regarding publications and code development What you bring to the table PhD (preferred) and M.Sc.

with excellent grades in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biomathematics or a similar subject High level of intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for translational research connecting academia and industry Clear understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts underlying Data Science Strong passion for Data Science with documented experiences plus an equally strong and documented interest in biomedicine Experience with generative AI, specifically transformer architectures, is a strong plus Documented experience with relevant biomedical data types, e.g.
