Astute's Renewables Team is partnered with a leading business within the biogas sector, who build and operate a portfolio of renewable energy facilities. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer to help maintain and repair the electrical systems on Anaerobic Digestate Plants throughout the UK.\n\nThe strategically important Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £45,000, excellent benefits package and the chance to be part of an industry leading business within the renewables sector.\n\nIf you're an experienced Electrical Engineer, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties of the Electrical Engineer role\n\nReporting to the Service Manager you will:\n\nPerform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in industrial environments\nCarry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis on power distribution, control circuits, and automation systems\nPlanning and undertaking scheduled maintenance\nDeal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs\nSupporting other members of the service team and the Operational Staff.\nEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation\nWorking across the UK on sites as required\nOther duties as required \n\nProfessional qualifications \n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nVocational diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline\nFull UK Driving Licence \n\nPersonal skills \n\nThe Electrical Engineer role would suit someone who is:\n\nExcellent knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems\nExcellent electrical testing and diagnosis skills\nAbility to read electrical schematics\nExperience of electric motors\nExperience with PLC's advantageous (training will be given)\nComputer literate\nExcellent communication skills, a proactive approach with the ability to work on their own or as part of a team \n\nSalary and benefits of the Electrical Engineer role \n\nSalary of up to £45,000\nOvertime\nExcellent benefits package\nThe chance to join a leading business with the renewable energy sector\n #LI-AR1\n INDREN\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
